ASPEN™ 3232HD3G HONORED WITH TV TECHNOLOGY STAR AWARD AT NAB 2012

32x32 3G HD−SDI Matrix Switcher stands out among the media industry

Hampton, New Jersey – May, 2012 - After four days with over 90,000 media and entertainment professionals in attendance, Kramer Electronics and Sierra Video’s Aspen 3232HD3G was recognized as one of the best and brightest products at the 2012 NAB show, when conferred the prestigious STAR award from TV Technology Magazine.

The STAR award (Superior Technology Award Recipient) recognizes superior technological innovations in the industry. Selection is made by a panel of broadcast industry experts who review the products and services found at the show and evaluate their overall contribution to the industry. The Aspen 3232HD3G was one of the few select products recognized and honored this year at our industries largest trade show.

This award, now in its twelfth year, is a shining recommendation of the Aspen 3232 3G-HD-SDI matrix switcher. This matrix switcher is a part of the Aspen line consisting of general utility 3G HD−SDI routing switchers ideal for use in any professional video installation, including rental and staging applications, higher education facilities, houses of worship, hospitals, broadcast facilities, broadcast production trucks, and post production facilities.

This high performance matrix switcher is compact, energy efficient and capable of driving long cable runs. Due to its advanced technology, the Aspen 3232HD3G router can drive signals farther than most typical 3G HD−SDI routing switchers. The device can drive 3G signals up to 557 feet (170 meters) with a high quality cable compared to a typical industry performance level of 328 feet (100 meters).

In addition to longer signal range, another stellar feature of the Aspen 3232HD3G is energy efficiency. This “green” device requires less than 32 Watts of power including the power consumed by its standard built−in routing switcher control system and front panel. This is far less than other comparable models available in the market today.

Another unique and extremely beneficial feature of the Aspen 3232HD3G is its embedded controller which can be accessed via a TCP−IP or RS 232/422 serial interface, making it easy to integrate into any automation or control system. The built−in web server offers convenient control and setup functions and works with any OS, browser and most handheld devices. The user can even access an IP address from the front panel allowing for quick and convenient set up.

The Aspen 3232HD3G has a list price of $13,995.00. For more information on the Aspen line and the 3232HD3G, please visit www.kramerus.com.
